Accessibility
We believe great tools should be accessible to everyone. SocialKit is built to be inclusive, keyboard-friendly, and screen-reader compatible — meeting WCAG 2.1 AA standards.

Built for everyone
Six core accessibility features that make SocialKit usable by all.
WCAG 2.1 AA
We target WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance across all pages and tools.
Keyboard Navigation
Every interactive element is fully operable using only the keyboard.
Fast Loading
Pages load in under 2 seconds. No heavy frameworks or unnecessary scripts.
Screen Reader Friendly
Semantic HTML, ARIA labels, and proper heading hierarchy throughout.
Dark & Light Mode
Full theme support with system preference detection and manual toggle.
Readable Typography
Minimum 16px body text, high contrast ratios, and scalable fonts.
Our Commitment
SocialKit is committed to making our tools accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe that accessibility is not a feature — it is a fundamental right. We continuously work to improve the accessibility of our website and tools, following the latest web accessibility standards and best practices.
Conformance Standards
We strive to conform to the following accessibility standards:
- WCAG 2.1 Level AA: Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1, Level AA — the international standard for web accessibility.
- Section 508: U.S. federal accessibility standards for information technology. Our tools meet Section 508 requirements.
- EN 301 549: European accessibility standard for ICT products and services. We align with EU accessibility requirements.
- ADA Compliance: Americans with Disabilities Act — our tools are designed to be accessible to all users.
Keyboard Navigation
Every interactive element on SocialKit can be accessed and operated using only a keyboard. This includes navigation, tool inputs, buttons, forms, and modals. We use visible focus indicators (a colored ring around the focused element) so keyboard users always know where they are on the page. Tab order follows a logical sequence, and you can use Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter, Space, and Escape to navigate all functionality.
Screen Reader Support
We design with screen readers in mind. Our pages use semantic HTML5 elements (nav, main, section, article, aside), proper heading hierarchy (h1 through h6), and ARIA labels where needed. All images have descriptive alt text, form inputs have associated labels, and dynamic content changes are announced via ARIA live regions. We test with NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver.
Visual Design
Our visual design prioritizes readability and accessibility:
- Color contrast: All text meets WCAG AA contrast ratios (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text). We test both light and dark themes.
- Scalable text: Text can be zoomed to 200% without loss of content or functionality. We use relative units (rem, em) throughout.
- No color-only indicators: Information is never conveyed by color alone. We use icons, text, and patterns alongside color.
- Dark mode: Full dark theme support with proper contrast ratios. Respects system preference and can be toggled manually.
Responsive Design
SocialKit is fully responsive and works on all screen sizes — from 358px mobile phones to ultra-wide desktop monitors. Our layout adapts fluidly using CSS Grid and Flexbox. Touch targets are at least 44x44 pixels on mobile. No horizontal scrolling is required on any device. We test on real devices across iOS, Android, Windows, and macOS.
Performance & Motion
Fast performance is an accessibility feature. Our pages load in under 2 seconds on average connections. We respect the prefers-reduced-motion media query — users who prefer reduced motion will see minimal animations. No auto-playing video or audio. All animations are subtle and non-distracting.
Browser Compatibility
SocialKit works with all major browsers and assistive technologies:
- Browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, Brave, and Opera (latest 2 versions of each).
- Screen readers: NVDA (Windows), JAWS (Windows), VoiceOver (macOS/iOS), TalkBack (Android).
- Mobile: iOS 15+ and Android 10+ with native accessibility features fully supported.
Known Limitations
While we strive for full accessibility, some areas may still need improvement. Third-party content (embedded videos, external widgets) may not meet our accessibility standards. If you encounter an accessibility issue, please report it and we will fix it as quickly as possible.
Feedback & Reporting
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. If you find an accessibility barrier on SocialKit, please let us know. We take all accessibility reports seriously and will work to fix issues promptly. Email us with details of the issue, including the page URL and the assistive technology you are using.
